How long do I have to wait to get an inspection?

Inspections will generally be done within 48 hours, and on Saturdays by arrangement.

How Long before I get my report?

You will receive your report generally the same day. We promote the benefit of a report that is given to the customer soon after the inspection.

What is this electronic system that is used?

With the assistance of modern technology the entire report is completed on site. The only thing that is done in the office is the compiling of the photos with the appropriate comments, and emailing to the client. The beauty of completing a report like this is that nothing is forgotten. We are using the latest technology.

As the client, are you invited to the inspection?

Yes if you would like to attend you are welcome.

Is the inspector qualified and insured?

The inspector is a qualified tradesperson with many years of experience and knowledge. He is accredited, licenced and has PI and PL insurance.

Does Coastwide do pest inspections?

No, we leave that to the experts in their field, but we can organise to have one done at the same time as the Building inspection if you request this when booking. Our associate is Termicide Pest Management.

What standards are used when conducting an inspection?

All Coastwide Building inspections are in accordance with Australian Standards AS4349.1 Building Inspections. The report supplied will be comprehensive & photographically illustrated.

How do I Pay?

We accept mastercard, visacard and eftpos payments. These can be made at the time of booking and will be processed on the day of the inspection or alternatively you can pay the inspector on site by cash, cheque, or the above cards. Payment is required prior to the report being issued.
